In 2003 I was
asked by Houghton Mifflin, the original Publisher of Curious George to
illustrate new books in the style of
H.A.Rey. My
first step was experimenting with different media until I felt I had
the right technique. I then painted these samples of George in
different situations to show that I could illustrate the curious little
monkey in all his playful spirit..
